Essentials of Bioinformatics (Theoretical and Practical)

The lecture is designed to provide a strong background in current bioinformatics fundamentals. It is designed for all audiences in the scientific, medical, and paramedical fields to understand the ideas of essentials of bioinformatics. It will also serve as preparation for those pursuing a postgraduate degree in molecular biology or a similar field.
The focal point will be on the demonstration of the role of bioinformatics as a fundamental tool in the research, exploring and interpreting data, finding out the mutations, predicting genetic or protein disorders, and even discovering phylogenetic analysis. Also, to figure out the actual definitions and concepts in the biology field which can favorably open new paths or develop new concepts in a more accurate and sophisticated way in the line with establishing the knowledge in the bioinformatics, medicine, and pharmacological fields serving humanity according to the concept of our beloved kingdom in the 2030 vision.
The focus will be on understanding central principles and fundamental mechanisms for the organization, replication, and expression of the genetic material, as well on methods for molecular genetic analyses and gene technology. The main theme of the course is to understand molecular genetics as an experimental discipline and to
The course will use a well-written textbook as a reference. Studies of the book will be facilitated and complemented by a series of lectures and practical seminars. Practical training in bioinformatics tools and illustrations of some theoretical concepts will be obtained in classes and computer exercises. The examination will be based both on a written exam at the end of the course and on seminars throughout the course.

By the end of the course, learners should be able to understand the concept of:
